TRUMPF TruLaser 5040 • 12 kW Fiber

High-Speed • Automated
What advantages does AMP’s TRUMPF TruLaser 5040 bring?

The TruLaser 5040 enhances production with faster cutting speeds, high precision, and advanced automation for loading and unloading. We complete multi-sheet projects more efficiently, reduce production costs, and deliver faster.

How does this benefit customers?

Speed and accuracy help us meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality. Automation enables cost-efficient production—translating to competitive pricing and shorter lead times.

What materials can you cut (including high-strength)?

Aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, brass, and bronze. We also process high-strength metals with tensile strength up to 100,000 PSI, which are typically more challenging to machine.

What specialized features are available?

CoolLine cutting, micro- and nano-joint technology, QR code etching, and weld beveling—letting us provide customized, high-precision solutions for your parts.

What tolerances can you hold?

Feature tolerances to ±0.015" and positioning tolerances as low as ±0.005", depending on material, thickness, and geometry.

How does automation improve the process?

Automated loading/unloading completes multi-sheet jobs with less setup and handling, reducing cycle time and minimizing material scratching—so projects ship faster at lower cost.

How does this help the sales team serve clients better?

The TruLaser 5040’s large-capacity 12 kW fiber and advanced features enable solutions few competitors match—especially on thicker materials—delivered quickly and cost-effectively.

What thickness range can be processed?

Up to 1 ¾" for aluminum, stainless, and carbon steels; up to 3/8" for copper, brass, and bronze (application-dependent). Our estimators can help determine the best cutting process for your project.
