How to Quote a Custom Size

Use these steps on any product page (example shown: 1018 Steel Round Bar) to add your custom size to the cart and generate a quote.

1. Select required attributes

   Choose the standard options first (e.g., Diameter, Grade, Finish).
   For the dimension you want to customize (e.g., Length), open the selector and choose Custom.
   Some products may have more than one attribute that supports Custom.

2. Enter your custom dimension(s)

   Type the exact value in the field that appears after selecting Custom.
   • If the item has multiple customizable attributes (e.g., Length and Width), set each to Custom and enter each value.
   • Use the units shown on the page (inches, feet, etc.).

3. Adjust the quantity

   Use the + / − controls or type the number of pieces you need.
   Quantity applies to the custom size you entered.

4. Click Add to Cart

   Your custom-sized item will be added to the cart.
   Repeat the steps above if you want to add additional custom sizes or other products.

5. Checkout as a quote

   Open the cart and choose Checkout as a Quote to receive pricing and a formal quote.
